Job summary

Judi Health is seeking a Data Exchange Analyst to ensure accurate, secure data exchange across employers, providers, and TPAs. You will focus on data integration, file transformation, error resolution, and ongoing monitoring of data feeds for medical, dental, and vision claims.

The role requires strong knowledge of healthcare data formats, EDI transactions (e.g., 834/837/835) and HIPAA compliance, plus experience with SQL, Excel, and JSON.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Healthcare Informatics
• Knowledge of healthcare claim adjudication processes and EDI transactions
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data integration, or EDI in healthcare
• Strong understanding of healthcare EDI transactions (834/837/835)
• Familiarity with FTP/SFTP/FTPS
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data mappings and transformations for healthcare data files (e.g., 837/835, 270/271, 278, 276/277, 999/TA1)
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to define data requirements
• Onboard, test and certify new connections and transaction sets
• Develop and implement data validation rules to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and root causes
• Monitor system status and provide troubleshooting for data exchange issues
• Document data exchange processes and configurations
• Identify opportunities to automate data exchange processes
• Generate reports on data exchange performance and trends
