Job summary

Quest Analytics is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to join our Provider Network Analytics team in the United States. You will work with large healthcare datasets, build data‑driven insights, and help optimize provider networks using SQL, Python, and BI tools.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance, and scalable analytics in a collaborative, flexible environment. Preference for experience with Databricks/Spark, AI tooling, and cross‑functional collaboration with Product,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience in healthcare, SaaS, or data‑intensive environments.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and conducting in‑depth data investigations.
• Experience supporting product development, data quality initiatives, or analytics‑driven decisions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (intermediate to advanced) for data extraction and analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar data processing tools.
• Programming languages: Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Looker).
• Experience leveraging AI tools (Claude) for analytics and automation.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and data governance practices.
• Ability to define metrics, KPIs, and data models; strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for internal stakeholders and partners.
• Analyze provider data to resolve entity matching across sources and define data structures.
• Lead data investigations to resolve data quality issues and support initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services on data solutions.
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to process and analyze large datasets.
• Contribute to evaluation and adoption of new analytics technologies.
• Maintain data governance standards for high‑quality, reliable data assets.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and analytical frameworks to support Quest products.
• Document and track project work in systems such as DevOps.
