Corner Home Medical is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Rochester team. The role supports patients and providers in the durable medical equipment field, handling phone, email, and in-person inquiries. Medical terminology or billing experience is a plus but not required.

You will verify insurance where needed, process orders, and assist with billing documentation while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in data entry.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred—healthcare or medical office experience a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing, or DME equipment helpful but not required.
• Experience with Brightree software is preferred; training is available.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Take customer orders and accurately enter information into the computer system.
• Assist walk-in customers with product questions, retail sales, and order support.
• Initiate insurance verification and collect required insurance information.
• Prepare billing documentation including CMNs, waivers, and required forms.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally with customers and referral sources.
• Balance the daily till and assist with deposit preparation as needed.
• Support inventory management and maintain a clean, organized retail environment.
• Participate in company training, in-services, and on-call duties as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by branch management.
