Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function for a growing healthcare organization in Orlando, FL. You will own the month-end close, manage the annual audit, and oversee a sizable accounting team.

Requirements include CPA preferred, 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, healthcare industry familiarity, and a strong, hands-on leadership style. The role offers a balanced hybrid schedule and competitive compensation with a bonus.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with close and audit ownership.
• Healthcare industry experience including exposure to third‑party/insurance reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of consolidated financial statements.
• Manage the annual financial audit and lead recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, treasury, accounts payable, procurement, and payroll.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle Management on revenue recognition and bad debt reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with senior leadership, vendors, banking partners, and external auditors.
• Ensure internal controls are properly designed and operating effectively across the department.
