We're seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function for a well-established healthcare organization with $100M+ in annual revenue. This role owns the full close process, audit management, and financial reporting, while overseeing a sizable accounting team.

Job Details

• Own the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of consolidated financial statements
• Manage the annual financial audit and lead recommendations for procedural improvements
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, treasury, accounts payable, procurement, and payroll
• Partner with Revenue Cycle Management on revenue recognition and bad debt reporting: healthcare/insurance reimbursement experience is required
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with senior leadership, vendors, banking partners, and external auditors
• Ensure internal controls are properly designed and operating effectively across the department

What We're Looking For

• CPA strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant close and audit ownership
• Healthcare industry experience required, including exposure to third-party/insurance reimbursement
• Strong, hands-on leadership style: someone who can develop and elevate a team, not just manage it
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust across departments and with senior leadership
• ERP experience required
