Job summary

The Staff Pad is seeking a Controller to oversee the accounting department for a healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX onsite. This role focuses on producing accurate financial reporting and analysis for leadership while partnering with the CFO and leading accounting and disbursement operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of accounting management experience in a hospital setting, with strong leadership and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reports, monthly statements, audits, and budgets.
• Manage disbursement operations including accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, expense reports, and payroll processing.
• Maintain cash controls and support payroll tax compliance as part of day-to-day duties.
• Establish and maintain systems and controls to support data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Provide the CFO with accurate, timely financial information and support as requested.
• Lead special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
