HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe invites a Controller to lead the financial operations of the hospital, directing the general ledger, monthly close, budgets, and SOX compliance. You will supervise the Accounting Department, mentor staff, and partner with leadership to drive financial strength for the Conroe facility.

The role emphasizes strong internal controls, cross-department collaboration, and timely financial reporting in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis on accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years healthcare accounting experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Experience with mainframe and PC-based accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger and monthly closing activities.
• Prepare Capital and Operational budgets.
• Direct accounting department staff and training programs.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls.
• Coordinate with IS for financial data and reporting.
