Job summary

The Community College of Baltimore County is seeking a Continuing Education Program Lead responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating high-quality CE courses for healthcare professionals in Maryland.

Requires Maryland licensure and a master's degree in a health care field; at least two years of college teaching preferred, with CEU development experience valued. This on-site role collaborates with program directors to ensure standards and accreditation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a health care related field is required.
• Current licensure as a health care professional in Maryland is required.
• Minimum 2 years of college-level teaching experience preferred.
• Experience developing continuing education units (CEUs) for health care professionals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a consistent course structure for short-term continuing education programs serving healthcare professionals.
• Prepare and maintain documentation required for CE approval and accreditation.
• Design and create a process for applying and obtaining approval for CEU credits.
• Ensure CE courses meet regulatory standards for continuing education credits.
• Assess needs of healthcare employers, alumni and professional organizations to provide focus for the development of courses.
• Create an evaluation process for CEU courses.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the CE Program.
