Qualifications

• Related professional experience or appropriate professional licensure in content area or closely related field.
• AA degree or higher.
• Experience using Blackboard LMS and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds of community college students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct organized classes at the instructional level to meet course descriptions and objectives.
• Develop engaging course content; secure guest speakers for special topics.
• Facilitate Workplace Excellence Series modules using provided curriculum.
• Be available via email and phone to answer student questions.
• Evaluate student progress and inform students of their progress.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.
• Participate in professional development to stay current in discipline and instructional methods.
