Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 2 in Dallas, TX, to plan, manage and execute complex projects. You will supervise material, equipment and personnel, ensure documentation is complete, and drive on-time, profitable project completion in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role requires overseeing safety, quality, and cost control, managing subcontractors, coordinating with owners and design teams, and leading daily standup and weekly trade meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years construction experience and 3+ years field supervision.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and coordinates overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Maintains project site care, custody and control.
• Leads meetings and participates in progress / OAC meetings.
• Creates and adjusts project schedule with Project Manager.
• Monitors budgets and costs using cost reports.
