Job summary

LeChase Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Field Operations lead to manage small to midsize projects with 1–3 team members, including foremen and subcontractors. You will oversee planning, coordination, and execution of field activities to achieve goals for LeChase and customers.

The role requires strong communication, safety leadership, and hands-on management of crews, with responsibility for cost control, scheduling, and paperwork throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• OSHA 30 strongly preferred; relevant construction training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to achieve safe, high-quality construction at minimum cost.
• Maintain daily communications with the project manager on job status and changes.
• Coordinate pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities with the project team.
• Oversee foremen and crews to ensure performance and productivity.
• Monitor manpower, costs, and field operations; coordinate with Director of Field Operations.
• Ensure paperwork including time sheets, cost codes, and reports is completed accurately and on time.
• Follow and implement the company safety program and conduct safety meetings.
• Maintain relations with Owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to pursue repeat business.
• Lead meetings and encourage input from crews and trades to solve problems.
• Review job costs and schedule status with the Project Manager weekly.
• Maintain As-Built Drawings and close-out documentation throughout construction.
