Job summary

RQ Construction invites experienced professionals to join as Construction Quality Control Manager for a large ambulatory care and dental clinic project at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Role requires on-site leadership, with a focus on developing QC plans, documentation, and cross-team coordination.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction, 2+ years as QC Manager, and a USACE CQM certification. Benefits include housing, vehicle, travel, healthcare, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in commercial construction, with roles like Superintendent, PM, or QC Manager
• At least 2 years direct experience as Quality Control Manager
• Active USACE CQM for Contractors certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field preferred
• Specialized inspection certifications and licenses are highly desirable
• Healthcare facility project experience strongly preferred
• LEED AP/Green Associate credentials are a plus
• EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications recommended

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer a project-specific quality control plan
• Ensure work complies with contractual standards and maintains documentation
• Coordinate quality activities across the project team
• Foster strong client relationships and uphold RQ Construction values
