Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) to lead quality assurance for a large healthcare facility project at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This on-site role requires coordinating the QC plan, ensuring compliance with contractual standards, and maintaining rigorous documentation while working with the field team and client.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction, at least 2 years as QC Manager, and relevant certifications (USACE CQM, EM 385-1-1, OSHA

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in commercial construction (healthcare preferred).
• At least 2 years direct experience as QC Manager.
• Active USACE CQM for Contractors certification required; RMS/QCS knowledge preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Specialized inspection certifications and licenses highly desirable.
• Healthcare facility experience strongly preferred; LEED AP/Green Associate a plus.
• EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required.
• Proficiency with Office suite and construction software.
