Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to support a large ambulatory care and dental clinic project at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The CQCM will develop and administer a project-specific quality control plan and ensure on-site compliance with contractual standards.

The role requires 10+ years in commercial construction with healthcare QC experience, active USACE CQM certification, and relocation to GTMO. Strong documentation and client liaison skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in commercial construction (or equivalent) including supervisory roles.
• At least 2 years direct QC Manager experience on healthcare facilities.
• Active USACE CQM certification; RMS/QCS knowledge preferred.
• Engineering/Construction degree or related field preferred.
• Specialized inspection certifications and licenses desirable.
• LEED AP/Green Associate a plus.
• EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications desirable.
• Proficiency with Office software and CM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer a project-specific quality control plan.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual standards and specs.
• Maintain timely, accurate QC documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate quality activities across the project team.
