Job summary

Linbeck Group in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Assistant Project Manager (Healthcare) to oversee a scope defined by subcontractor contracts valued up to $10M. You will drive schedule, safety, cost control, and field coordination across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.

Responsibilities include managing RFIs, SCOs, submittals, logs, QA/QC, and closeout activities while mentoring field staff and ensuring compliance with Owner contracts and Linbeck standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business and a minimum of 4-years of experience with a General Contractor.
• Demonstrated results on construction projects of similar type, size, scope, and complexity as contracted by Linbeck (strongly preferred).
• Proficient at overseeing another employee's work and motivating teams.
• Strong communication and coordination across project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Linbeck Site Specific Safety Program, including BBS and Safety Walks.
• Understand Owner Contract and manage project execution to terms.
• Create and manage the Potential Impacts Log and notify Owner as required.
• Manage the RFI Log and dispatch documentation to project team.
• Prepare Subcontractor Change Orders (SCO) with proper language.
• Create submittal logs and coordinate with Design Team and Subcontractors.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for contract compliance.
• Coordinate expediting to meet delivery dates with subcontractors.
• Apply QA/QC programs and facilitate process improvements.
• Utilize field tools like checklists, look-ahead planning, and meeting agendas.
• Manage Self-Perform financials and margins including staffing and costs.
• Maintain project logs and reports for Owner, Subcontractor, and Internal use.
• Develop a comprehensive project closeout plan and execute it.
• Compile closeout documentation including warranties and as-builts.
