Job summary

STV, Inc. in Denver, CO, seeks a Project Engineer to support healthcare capital improvement projects as part of an owner’s representative team.

You will assist with coordination, documentation, cost and schedule tracking, design and construction administration, and project closeout. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in healthcare or similarly complex projects, and comfort working in active facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 3+ years of healthcare or similarly complex project coordination experience.
• Experience through design and construction phases.
• Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change management, cost tracking, scheduling, and project controls.
• Strong organizational skills and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers throughout planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, facilities teams, and client stakeholders.
• Assist in monitoring design and construction activities for compliance with contract documents and client objectives.
• Maintain and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change requests, meeting minutes, logs, and correspondence.
• Assist with tracking budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, change orders, invoices, and pay applications.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, deliverables, and outstanding action items.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs and contractor documentation; coordinate responses.
• Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on actions and deliverables.
• Assist with bid packages, procurement activities, and contract administration.
• Conduct site observations, document progress, field conditions, and coordination needs.
• Support construction in active healthcare facilities while minimizing impact on patients and operations.
• Coordinate utility shutdowns, equipment installation, commissioning, and phased occupancy.
