Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee hospital-scale projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will coordinate with contractors, architects, and hospital leaders to ensure schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements are met.

The role requires five or more years in healthcare construction project management, strong CAD literacy, and a proven ability to lead teams with integrity and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare design and construction techniques; building codes and practices.
• Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize and evaluate the work of contractors.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints.
• Leadership abilities with high ethical standards.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction activities with Contractors, Project Managers, and Design Consultants; review conditions, schedule, budget and costs.
• Manage multiple projects; coordinate and evaluate subcontractors; frequent site visits.
• Coordinate Owner, Architect and Contractor (OAC) meetings for information flow between OAC and Clinical/Operations staff.
• Create and maintain project files for internal, local, state, and federal compliance; prepare materials for audits.
• Read drawings, interface with contractors and hospital staff on utility interruptions, traffic control, and infection control changes.
• Coordinate transmittal, documentation, and retention of plans, contracts, and change directives with hospital personnel, contractors, and architects.
• Manage closeout and commissioning; training, as-built drawings, warranty escrow, and contractual compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned
