Qualifications

• Valid Real ID is a requirement.
• US Citizenship is required.
• AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Six years of additional planning experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist VA staff with Project Management Plan, Construction Management Plan, and Risk Management Plan.
• Develop space planning documents, layouts, equipment lists, and cost estimates.
• Use AutoCAD and/or Revit to develop programming documents.
• Coordinate with clinical staff, facility leadership, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare architectural programming documents per VA design criteria and healthcare guidelines.
• Support planning efforts with space utilization analyses and facility operations reviews.
• Document planning decisions in project meetings and site visits.
