Job summary

Qualifications

- Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements on construction projects.
- Ability to interpret Architectural/Engineering plans and specifications.
- Experience with government building projects and VA-related standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of building code and Joint Commission requirements for healthcare facilities.
- Manage design contracts and coordinate with VA staff and design professionals.
- Prepare contract documents and review drawings and specifications.
- Provide life safety and fire protection reviews of design documents.
- Coordinate design reviews, track findings, and ensure responses are implemented.
- Work with interior design and equipment planners to align procurement timelines.
