Job summary

National General Contractor | Midwest Regional Operations in the Indianapolis area seeks a Healthcare Construction Project Manager to lead complex healthcare builds from preconstruction through turnover. The role requires a minimum of two years in construction project management, a track record of managing projects $25 million+, and experience in healthcare facilities, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction project management experience in a GC
• Experience managing individual projects valued at $25M+
• Healthcare construction experience (hospitals, medical office, ambulatory centers)
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, contract administration and subcontractor coordination
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and client relationships
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6
• Willingness to travel to project sites in the Greater Indianapolis area

Responsibilities

• Lead healthcare construction projects from scope to turnover
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and reports
• Establish and maintain detailed project schedules and milestones
• Coordinate infection control and life-safety requirements in healthcare environments
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance
• Maintain owner and client relationships with regular updates
• Collaborate with superintendents, estimators, designers and field staff
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement tracking
• Lead project turnover, commissioning coordination, and closeout
