Job summary

Ascension Seton Cove in Austin, TX seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead healthcare capital projects. You will direct scope, schedule and budget across planning, design, bid management and construction, coordinating with architects, engineers and hospital teams to meet timelines and safety requirements.

You will monitor earned value and forecast needs, ensure regulatory compliance and quality, and support pro‑rated PTO, tuition aid and employee well‑being in a hybrid Austin workplace.

Qualifications

• Drivers license required prior to hire.
• Licensed construction professional preferred; CHC.
• CAPM or PMP certification accepted.
• Education: high school diploma with experience or associates/bachelor’s with experience or 7 years of job-specific experience.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directed scope, schedule, and budget for healthcare capital projects across planning, design, bid management and construction.
• Tracked real-time performance using earned value, budget burn, percent complete and forecast to optimize delivery.
• Ensured adherence to healthcare safety codes, regulatory standards and national construction frameworks.
• Implemented quality assurance protocols and warranty management for safe, high-quality renovations.
• Coordinated cross-functional teams, architects, engineers, and hospital staff to meet timelines.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Construction Professional preferred. Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC).
• Project Mgmt Professional preferred. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

What additional preferences we're seeking

Low voltage experience is strongly preferred.
