• Five (5) or more years of medical records experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Directs a centralized medical coding operation to service Covenant Health's entities.
• Oversees staffing, hiring, training, and team development.
• Develops policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs.
• Oversees planning and supervision of coding activities.
• Monitors metrics like Days in AR and unbilled accounts to meet goals.
• Manages annual operating and capital budgeting.
