Responsibilities

• Supervise HIM staff and participate in hiring, scheduling and evaluations.
• Oversee medical records, coding, transcription, and release of information operations.
• Ensure policies and procedures align with regulatory and coding standards.
• Promote compliance, staff education, and error reduction in documentation and DRG coding.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet departmental and system goals.
