Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Coding Educator to guide coding teams on CPT/ICD-10, HCPCS, and E/M coding, and to plan, organize, direct, and coordinate education and training.

The role requires experience in coder education, auditing or management, and knowledge of ancillary, surgical, ED, and E/M coding; you will audit, educate, monitor, and develop training materials for production coders.

Qualifications

• Experience in coder education, auditing, or management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ancillary, surgical, emergency medicine, and E/M coding.
• Ability to train on CPT/ICD-10 and HCPCS across offshore and onshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Audit, educate, and monitor coders for E/M levels, procedures, and diagnosis coding (CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS).
• Develop, administer, and update focused coding education programs and materials.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve instructional materials and course plans.
