Responsibilities include reviewing records, applying guidelines, and maintaining 95% accuracy while resolving edits and ensuring productive coding workflows in a hospital setting.

Competenze

• 3 years of experience in acute healthcare setting.
• AHIMA or AAPC membership preferred.
• RHIT/RHIA/CCS/CCS-P/COC/CPC certification required or eligible.

Mansioni

• Uses ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient visit types.
• Assigns Evaluation and Management codes for physician encounters.
• Reviews records to code diagnoses, procedures, and E/M services.
• Collaborates with Patient Accounting, Registration, case managers and clinical areas.
