Job summary

Cadwell is seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and security of our AWS-hosted infrastructure supporting healthcare facilities relying on Cadwell’s software suite. You will lead incident response, implement IaC, and partner across teams to meet uptime and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on automated pipelines, observability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization across hosted environments, with HIPAA/GDPR compliance at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of SRE, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps experience.
• Experience operating production AWS environments.
• Experience in regulated healthcare/financial services environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and deployments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, YAML/JSON).
• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines to reduce drift.
• Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Lead incident response and post-mortems with corrective actions.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for hosted data.
• Ensure HIPAA/GDPR compliance and data security practices.
• Collaborate with software engineering and support teams on migrations and onboarding.
