Job summary

Cadwell Industries, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and security of its AWS-hosted infrastructure supporting neurodiagnostic software for healthcare facilities.

You will build and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform, automate pipelines, and lead incident response while ensuring HIPAA/GDPR compliance and disaster recovery for clinical data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in CS/IT.
• 8+ years in site reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps with hands-on AWS.
• Experience with on-call incident management in a regulated environment (medical device/healthcare preferred).
• AWS certification preferred (Solutions Architect or SysOps).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and HL7 tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, performance, and security of cloud-hosted infrastructure on AWS.
• Build, maintain, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, YAML, JSON/Jinja.
• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines to reduce manual effort and drift.
• Develop and maintain logging, monitoring, and observability with alerting.
• Lead incident response and post-mortems with corrective actions.
• Design and test backup and disaster recovery strategies for clinical data.
• Collaborate with software engineering to improve application reliability and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR and IEC 62304 standards.
