WellMed, part of the Optum family, UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a clinic operations leader in Fort Worth, TX. The role directs overall clinic operations, policy implementation and staff management to meet objectives.

Responsibilities include budgeting, service development, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining high-quality patient care and strong stakeholder relationships across the facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years healthcare administration experience including supervision.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of healthcare policies.
• Knowledge of fiscal management, HR practices and regulations.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports; strong problem solving.
• Tuberculosis screening and immunity requirements per policy.

Responsabilités

• Directs, supervises and coordinates clinic operations, including systems and procedures.
• Assist Medical Director with development and marketing of services and referrals.
• Oversee staff development, hiring and performance management.
• Promote cost-effective, high-quality care for patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations and reimbursement rules.
• Review policies and propose changes to Medical Director.
• Collaborate on budgets and funding decisions for the clinic.
• Represent the clinic at meetings and conferences.
• Participate in communications and public relations initiatives.
• Maintain professional affiliations and pursue development opportunities.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
