Job summary

Ember Group Consulting is seeking a Client Partner to lead our Healthcare portfolio, owning relationships with health systems, payers, and healthcare services organizations, and being fully accountable for revenue and quality of work.

You will report on the performance of engagements, coach embedded consultants, and shape Ember's healthcare offerings across finance, revenue cycle, ERP, and AI governance. A senior leader with 10+ years in healthcare consulting is ideal.

Qualifications

10+ years of management consulting experience in healthcare provider and/or payer markets, including significant time as a partner, principal, or account lead.
Proven record of owning and growing client accounts against a revenue target.
Strong understanding of health system economics: margin pressure, reimbursement, labor costs, and capital planning.
Experience leading consulting teams embedded at client sites.
Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements.
Relationships across Southeast health systems are a strong plus.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

Own and deepen relationships with health systems, payers, and healthcare services organizations; ensure revenue and quality of work.
Own the annual revenue budget for your portfolio; forecast accurately and expand scope to new departments and workstreams.
Ensure delivery excellence on every engagement, from ERP implementations to operational improvement programs.
Lead the consultants placed at your clients; coach engagement principals and managers; staff the right talent; drive utilization and retention.
Shape Ember's healthcare offerings in areas such as finance and revenue cycle, supply chain, ERP, workforce, and AI governance.
Partner with Ember's Talent team to anticipate recruiting needs and read market trends.
Contribute to Ember's insights, events, and executive conversations.
