Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Elkhart, IN is seeking an Site Operations Excellence Specialist to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, using Lean Six Sigma to deliver year-over-year cost savings. You will partner with site leadership and finance to document productivity projects, facilitate kaizen events, and build Lean capabilities through coaching and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in engineering, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
• Financial acumen with understanding of BOMs, value add, costing and overhead.
• Experience in a site cross-functional team and reporting to senior management.
• Excellent oral communications, business writing and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing Lean and Six Sigma to identify improvement opportunities for year over year cost savings.
• Partner with site leadership to prioritize continuous improvement projects for resource allocation & maintain an evergreen project hopper.
• Work with technical teams and finance to develop and document productivity projects and ensure savings are recorded.
• Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement using RCA, PDCA, GEMBA, 3i Unlimited, etc.
• Supporting the Continuous Improvement program to deliver improved results in Cost, Quality and Customer Service.
• Partner with Finance to track and forecast improvement measures.
• Leading improvement workshops, kaizen events, chalk circles, VSM and other improvement events.
• Building skills and capabilities of others in Lean methods, Cost Savings and OEE/OLE.
