Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to lead a team of Lean/CI specialists and deploy lean manufacturing principles across Formulation areas. You will shape a Lean roadmap with site leadership and drive disciplined execution for sustainable performance and cultural transformation.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing/ops, strong leadership, and certifications in Lean/CI. Travel up to 10% is possible, with a focus on coaching and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years in supply chain, manufacturing, or operational excellence roles.
• Experience in leadership or people management.
• Proven Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong communication and change-management capabilities.
• Lean leadership or CI certifications preferred and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Lean/CI specialists and ensure deployment of methods.
• Lead Operational Excellence and Lean initiatives in Formulation areas to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Partner with functional leaders to develop and execute Lean vision and multi-year roadmap.
• Drive site-level transformation through coaching and change leadership.
• Plan and facilitate Lean events (Kaizen, VSM, A3, Gemba walks).
• Identify, prioritize, and manage CI projects aligned with business objectives.
• Apply IE methods like time studies and flow analysis to identify improvements.
• Improve line/process performance using OEE/OLE and maintenance systems.
• Build Lean capability by coaching others and developing leadership.
• Communicate progress with data-driven storytelling.
