Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; general study area: General.
• At least 1 year of experience in inventory, purchasing, or supply management in a health care facility is helpful.
• English fluency to perform duties with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and third parties.
• Basic clerical and computer skills including data entry, spreadsheets, and inventory/purchasing software; basic math for counts and costs.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, store, and distribute nursing, resident care, and central supply items per procedures and budget.
• Verify deliveries against PO and packing slips; report shortages or discrepancies.
• Stock areas to par levels; rotate stock using FIFO; remove expired items.
• Coordinate with vendors on orders, backorders, returns, and credits; maintain records.
