Parkway Health & Rehabilitation Center in Boston, MA is seeking a dependable Central Supply Coordinator to ensure nursing and care teams have the supplies and equipment needed for daily resident care. This role manages inventory, orders, deliveries, and storage across three communities, coordinating with vendors and facility departments.

The position emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in central supply, inventory management, purchasing or materials management preferred.
• Healthcare facility experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with medical supplies, DME, and inventory procedures preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and electronic recordkeeping.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with departments and vendors.
• Able to prioritize tasks, work independently and follow through on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day supply and equipment needs for the facility.
• Coordinate ordering and purchasing of medical supplies and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock.
• Receive, inspect, organize, and document incoming supplies and equipment.
• Keep supply rooms clean, organized, and stocked.
• Monitor expiration dates and product rotation.
• Prepare supplies for new resident admissions.
• Track supply usage and upcoming inventory needs.
• Coordinate DME orders, deliveries, and documentation.
• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, delivery schedules, repairs, replacements.
• Maintain purchasing, inventory, delivery, and equipment records.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and other departments to identify supply needs.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available where needed.
• Assist with supply distribution and related tasks.
• Follow purchasing and inventory procedures and infection control policies.
