Job summary

Trilogy Health Services seeks a Maintenance Assistant to keep the health campus grounds, building, and equipment in safe, efficient condition, supporting the Maintenance Department's operations in line with federal and state standards.

The role involves daily rounds, minor repairs, and potential bus driving for resident transport as needed, requiring the ability to meet transport licensing requirements and a DOT physical for Kentucky applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a large van or bus (up to 15 passengers) safely and efficiently.
• Meets all state requirements for transporting residents, including proper licensing and certifications.
• For Kentucky applicants: Must complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical before providing transportation service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds, building and equipment for the health campus.
• Make daily rounds to proactively identify and address maintenance, equipment and safety concerns that could impact the health, welfare, safety and satisfaction of our residents, families and employees.
• Perform repairs as needed and/or appropriate on equipment, building and grounds.
• Assist with the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal and state regulations.
• Assist with driving the health campus bus for required maintenance appointments or resident trips as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
