Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in medical call handling desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and provides quality customer service.
• Schedule appointments and update demographics.
• Answer incoming calls and route to staff as needed.
• Register patients by phone per registration protocols.
• Call patients for follow up per policies and procedures.
• Call and schedule new patients on first visit.
• Promote OFH services by assessing patient needs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Respond to patient inquiries and route to appropriate staff.
• Explain services, payment categories and billing procedures.
• Attend mandatory programs and trainings as required.
• Learn and use the EHR/EOHR system.
• Participate in Patient Centered Health Home Model.
