Healthcare Business Analyst - Cybersecurity

Sabot Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst for a Healthcare software security project. This role involves business analysis, software quality assurance, and working with security and reporting capabilities. The position is remote, with a salary range of $90,000 to $140,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

1. Apply analytical processes to IT projects, focusing on business systems analysis and design.
2. Conduct data classification, retention policies, and access controls analysis.
3. Perform risk assessments, control testing, and develop mitigation plans.
4. Lead JAD sessions with stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
5. Ensure solutions align with business and IT requirements, maintaining effective communication.
6. Work with audit frameworks like NIST 800.53, ITIL, and SIMM 5305.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within IT and Audits.
8. Utilize data governance tools such as Alation, Informatica, or Collibra.
9. Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and activities.

Must Have:

• 5 years of FTE experience applying analytical processes to IT projects.
• At least 3 years in business systems analysis and design.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years analyzing data classification, retention policies, and access controls.
• 3 years conducting risk assessments and control testing.
• 3 years in an Agile environment using Jira Align & Atlassian Confluence.
• Experience leading JAD sessions with stakeholders.

• Knowledge of federal and state audit frameworks.
