IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain building automation systems, perform preventative maintenance, and develop programs to enhance system performance.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, fire protection, energy management, and building management software, reading blueprints, and compliance with OSHA and Joint Commission codes, with at least 2 years' relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Expertise in electrical, plumbing, pressurization, and fire protection devices.
• Knowledge of energy management, pneumatic transport, and building management systems software.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Familiar with OSHA and Joint Commission codes and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Operate and perform preventative maintenance on building automation systems.
• Develop programs to enhance building automation performance.
• Troubleshoot controls, field sensors, Direct Digital Control controllers and field panels.
• Provide field support when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
