Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and non-scheduled preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Responds to dispatched general maintenance service calls in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains secondary utility systems, including Plumbing systems, Air-conditioning systems, Electrical systems, Air handling and ventilation systems.
• Performs interior building maintenance, including drywall repair, painting and touch-up work.
• General upkeep of interior spaces.
• Maintains, repairs, and inspects specialized machinery and equipment in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Identifies facility equipment and system deficiencies and recommends improvements or corrective actions through appropriate channels.
• Supports patient care objectives by ensuring facility systems and equipment operate safely and effectively.
• Coordinates maintenance activities and functions with other departments and services.
• Conducts routine inspections of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Documents maintenance activities and reports findings as required.
• Adheres to organizational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
