Berks Counseling Center in Reading, PA is seeking a Client Account Specialist to support billing and reimbursement within a team-based care environment. The role involves monitoring schedules, finalizing batches in the EHR, verifying benefits, and producing monthly client statements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of billing experience in healthcare required.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week within agency hours (8am–8pm Mon–Thu, 8am–4pm Fri; Saturdays as applicable).
• Excellent communication skills in verbal, phone, and e-mail etiquette.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily routine monitoring of schedules for accuracy.
• Use the electronic health record system to finalize all batches.
• Ensure appropriate reimbursement for services is rendered.
• Report discrepancies to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal agency staff and departments.
• Acquire knowledge regarding insurance and verify benefits/eligibility.
• Process monthly statements to provide client financial transparency.
