You will collaborate with payers and hospital teams to resolve issues, ensure regulatory compliance, and post payments accurately. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and service-oriented communication in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year insurance billing experience in healthcare preferred.
• CPC or equivalent billing credential and Certified Professional Biller preferred.
• CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with payers and departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily billing operations to maximize cash collections.
• Ensure accurate submission of claims and posting of payments.
• Apply CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS coding knowledge to claims.
• Verify insurance coverage and patient financial responsibilities.
• Research unpaid accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with payers, clinical teams and departments.
• Maintain compliance with billing regulations and improve workflows.
• Prioritize deadlines and support a service-oriented work environment.
