Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing teams by reconciling payments and posting them to billing systems for accurate accounts receivable monitoring. You will liaise with insurance companies to ensure timely reimbursements for therapy sessions while maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality.

The role requires 1–2 years of payment posting experience, familiarity with billing software and insurance portals, and a detail-oriented, collaborative approach to support

Qualifications

HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
1–2 years of payment posting experience.
ABA experience and familiarity with insurance portals.
Strong communication and attention to detail in a HIPAA-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

Reconcile payments posted from the clearinghouse.
Post manual payments in all billing platforms.
Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
Post payments from insurance portals and enroll in ERAs when applicable.
Communicate trends to the AR team for client accounts.
Identify underpayments/overpayments and coordinate resolutions.
