Job summary

Intermountain Health in Nevada is hiring a Premium Billing Specialist to provide front-line support for Select Health Individual members and employer groups. The role handles billing and enrollment inquiries via phone and chat, guiding customers and ensuring accurate data entry while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

This is an in-person position based in Las Vegas. You will process payments, assist members with enrollment platforms, and partner with internal teams to resolve billing

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
• Strong CRM and data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication across multiple channels.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time in fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving skills and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support via inbound calls and live chat.
• Coordinate with employer groups to resolve basic account adjustments and payments.
• Respond to inquiries with guidance on billing and enrollment processes.
• Work with internal teams to troubleshoot billing and enrollment concerns.
• Process member payments following controls and compliance.
• Assist members in navigating enrollment platforms and documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and updates.
• Evaluate reinstatement eligibility and compute outstanding payments per policy.
• Review reinstatement requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Meet or exceed productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction metrics.
