Job summary

ALIYA Healthcare seeks an experienced Business Office Manager to oversee accounts receivable, billing operations, and resident financial services. You will drive Medicaid/Medicare billing, coordinate with Admissions, and ensure accurate financial reporting for residents.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in healthcare billing, proficiency with PCC/RFMS/EHR, and strong attention to detail with excellent communication to residents, families, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare billing or Business Office Manager role.
• Strong Medicaid, Medicare and private pay billing knowledge.
• Experience with PCC, RFMS or similar healthcare billing/EHR platforms.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable functions including private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance billing.
• Ensure Public Aid applications completed within 7 days of admission.
• Enroll residents in direct deposit through RFMS and maintain daily status reporting.
• Conduct weekly collection calls and document efforts in PCC Collections Tab.
• Complete Medicaid Redetermination forms promptly with supporting documentation.
• Reconcile trust accounts monthly and pay resident insurance premiums by the 5th.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility at admission and ongoing.
• Attend Medicare Meetings and stay updated on payer sources.
• Act as liaison between Corporate Office and families for billing questions.
• Complete daily census and deposits; submit credit card payments for posting.
