Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Assistant Business Office Manager in Alabama to help oversee census, billing, AR, and Medicaid tracking for a nursing center. You will work closely with the Administrator and center staff to ensure accurate financial operations and regulatory compliance.

You will meet residents at admission and discharge to explain financial obligations and manage patient trust funds, with support from the Revenue Cycle team as needed.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in long term care billing and collection preferred.
• Additional coursework in accounting/finance recommended.

Responsibilities

• Support census, billing, and accounts receivable oversight.
• Interact with Administrator, nursing center staff, families, and external agencies.
• Manage patient/resident trust funds and confidential files per regulations.
• Meet with patients/residents on admission and discharge to explain financial obligations.
