Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an experienced architect to manage architectural planning for healthcare and workplace environments, from conceptual designs through construction documents. In this role you will develop programs, assess space needs, and lead design teams and consultants to sign-off on concepts.

You will collaborate with internal clients, project managers, and contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver coordinated drawings using CAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or equivalent Architecture, Design, or equivalent years of education, training, and experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience architectural design or related field.
• Experience in health care environment.
• LIC-Architect - STATE_MI State of Michigan.
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Assesses space-related issues and develops alternatives for review and approval.
• Communicates proposed space solutions and related phasing to staff and PMs.
• Directs and reviews professional design consultant services and documents.
• Produces design drawings from concept to construction documents.
• Develops CAD and Revit drawings for space programs and permits.
• Manages budgets, scheduling, and coordination with contractors and clients.
• Acts as architectural consultant for renovations and new construction projects.
