Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Job Captain in San Diego to support the delivery of innovative design projects for diverse clients. You will lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams and provide construction administration support to ensure high-quality construction documents.

You will utilize your Revit skills, building codes knowledge, and healthcare project experience to guide design development and collaborate with clients and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the field of Architecture.
• Experience working on healthcare projects strongly preferred.
• Revit skills and building codes knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project coordination with the consultant team for each phase of the project (Site planning, Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Document and Construction Administration).
• Provide Revit support for the preparation of project documents.
• Utilize the company's resource groups for design.
• Preparation of design and construction documents.
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.).
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect in the preparation of project schedules and review of budgets.
• Provide assistance for submittals for jurisdiction agencies.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members.
