Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego seeks an Architectural Designer - Job Captain to guide design development through construction documents. You’ll coordinate with the Project Manager, review submittals, and ensure quality in technical documentation across all design phases.

You’ll lead design collaboration with consultants, research materials, and support permitting processes while maintaining project schedules and QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.
• 5 - 7 years of experience drafting at an architectural/engineering firm.
• Working experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of building codes, OSHPD and healthcare design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing every design project phase from programming to construction administration.
• Provide QA/QC oversight of technical documentation through all phases.
• Collaborate with project team and consultants on drawings coordination and detailing.
• Prepare design presentations and renderings as needed.
