Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or related previous experience.
• 1 year minimum: claim submission, payment posting, appeal and denial processes.
• Medical device billing and/or healthcare reimbursement experience preferred.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Payment Posting: EFT, credit card, ACH, live checks and insurance payments; match EOBs.
• Billing: submit claims for primary/secondary/tertiary payers; correct and resubmit denied claims.
• Collections: follow up on unpaid claims and patient accounts; identify trends and root causes.
• Compliance: ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, Medicare rules, and internal policies.
