Job summary

Baptist Health in Boca Raton is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to support the Business Office. The role focuses on improving cash collections and reducing AR aging across designated plans, with emphasis on interpreting payer contracts and handling RA/EOBs.

The position requires 2 years in billing/collections, healthcare experience preferred, and is full-time in a on-site setting at our Corporate offices. EOE.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience and/or training (one year in billing and/or collections experience in healthcare collections preferred).
• Minimum 2 years in billing and/or collections experience.

Responsibilities

• Increase cash collections and decrease AR aging for designated plan(s).
• Interpret payer contracts, Remittance Advices (RA) and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements.
• Submit claims and follow up with insurance companies.
• Analyze payer denials and rejections; resolve debit/credit balances.
