Job summary

CHRISTUS Health seeks an Application System Analyst II to bridge business needs and IT solutions within our healthcare environment. You will analyze requirements, map workflows, and implement medium to high complexity enhancements to assigned applications in a timely, high-quality manner.

You will collaborate with vendors, service desks, and operational leaders, providing training, documentation, and ongoing optimization while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred with a focus in healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Ability to present complex data in meaningful method, i.e., charts, graphs
• Ability to adjust to and implement change

• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and maintain or optimize assigned applications, solutions and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements.
• Collaborates across project borders with other teams; provides oversight and project management to assigned tasks.
• Demonstrates SME level expertise in providing support to projects, customers, and other teams, and guides newer team members in utilizing resources.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to enhance customer usability, efficiency and experience; communicates status to stakeholders.
• Performs requirements analysis, process mapping, and gathers specifications for cross-team solutions.
• Articulates design and configuration concepts clearly to end users and stakeholders; maintains relationships post-engagement.
• Contributes to strategy discussions and helps expedite decisions; recognizes when rapid 80% resolution is sufficient.
• Adheres to change control processes and documents changes.
• Maintains high quality standards and provides feedback to teammates on designs and deliverables.
• Manages medium complexity projects/requests and evaluates new releases and functionality.
